Listening Storytellers, 2003-2006

Site-specific, performative work (in progress). 43 polaroids, 43 simultaneous multi-language audio tracks. Max. lenght 6:00 min. Variable dimensions.

In the context of the exhibition at Manege Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia, visitors were invited to sit by the installation of pictures and drawings, and asked to tell a personal story while sharing a booze. Stories attempted to be followed in the speakers mother language –Russian, Finnish, Swedish, German, Estonian, English..–. A polaroid was shot with each story. Audio was recorded.
